Hammerberg & Associates in order to over come this problem had an idea of publishing the database of Gay & Gay Friendly Lawyers and Law Firms in the United States representing the needs of the GLBT Community. Hammerberg & Associates approached us to give them a solution on this. We immediately researched on the background of Hammerberg & Associates and there good activities related the Gay community and opted to our vertical portal solution.

Our Portal Solution
Hammerberg & Associates handed over this project of developing an Online Gay Law Firm Directory which would serve as good information for the Gay community and also acts as a medium of advertisement for Law Firms and Lawyers. These law firms and lawyers can publish there contact details in this portal with variety of features like Directory search, Search using maps, Search by area of practice etc.

Directory Listing
Gaylegal.com has a lawer and lawfirm directory as its coew. Users can get access to the directory in two ways by a) Area of specialization b) Lawyers by location. When the law firms and the lawyers signup and submit there application for approval, they will have the locations and area of practices chosen. After approval, their listing will be automatically published under Area of Specialization directory and Lawyers by location Directory. The users can browse through the Area of Location directory or browse through the Lawyers by location directory and find a suitable lawyer.

Search Tools
Gaylegal.com has an intelligent search tool which produces accurate search results based on the requirements input by the user. There are two types of searches in Gaylegal.com Search by Lawyer's location and Search by Lawyer's Practice Specialty.

Lawyer’s Area
Every lawyer or law firm who register with Gaylegal.com will have a private area where they can edit there current directory listing or apply for new listing in a different locations or in a different area of practice. They can renew there existing listing within this area and can pay for the new listing here. The lawyers can also apply for banner listing in Gaylegal.com and they can choose specific banner spots.

Backend Control Panel

• Location Management
  • The administrator can add, edit or remove any location from the Backend. He will have complete access location database using which the listings are displayed in the website.
• Lawyer Management
  • The administrator can add, edit or remove any lawyer or law firm from the website. He has the ability to view the account statement of lawyer and even though the listing renewal notices are made automatic, the administrator can still send a special notice to the lawyers whenever required.
• Listing Management
  • The administrator has complete control over every Lawyer listing in the website. Only after the administrators approval the listings get appeared in the website. The administrator can suspend or delete any listing which is inappropriate from the site any time.
• Banner Management
  • Similar to the listing management, the administrator have full control on all the banner locations in the website. The administrator will have to approve all the banner listing before it gets appeared in the website. The banner system automatically loads the banners of the lawyers or law firms based on there location in the search results page and in the directory page.
• Accounts Management
  • The administrator has access to all the transaction which happens in the website. The account management system stores all the listing payments received through the credit card from the lawyers and also automatically sends renewal notice to the lawyers. It can also generate various accounts related reports.
